Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he will not attend the G20 summit if his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin is there.

“My personal and Ukrainian position was that if the leader of the Russian Federation participates, Ukraine will not participate,” he said at a Nov. 3 conference, answering reporters’ questions.

Otherwise, the G20 summit will be held on November 15 and 16 in Bali, Indonesia.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine began on February 24 in what Russia called a “special military operation”.
