The government of Moldova has announced that a Russian missile that was shot down by Ukrainian air defenses on Monday morning has landed in a village in the north of that country, and it is reported that there are also damaged houses.
As a result, in the village of Naslavcea, the windows of the houses were broken, but no one was injured by the fall of the rocket, the Ministry of the Interior of Moldova announced.
As further reported, the Ukrainian authorities informed Moldova this morning about the Russian attack on the dam at the Dniester hydroelectric plant.
It is located about 10 kilometers from the village of Naslavcea, but it was added that the dam was not damaged by the attack.
Otherwise, Russia launched a barrage of attacks across Ukraine, including in the capital Kiev, targeting energy infrastructure and water supplies, authorities said.
Multiple explosions were heard across the country on Monday morning, with explosions reported in the suburbs of Kiev, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad and other regions.
Thus, air alerts were declared in all regions of Ukraine, except for Crimea, which Russia illegally annexed from Ukraine in 2014.
