Two weeks before the Baden-Württemberg state election on March 8, a poll conducted by Insa shows the Greens are closing the gap with the leading CDU. In the Bild (Tuesday edition) survey the Greens received 22 % of voter support, only six percentage points behind the CDU, which stands at 28 %. About 10 % of voters plan to back the SPD, while 20 % intend to vote for the AfD. The FDP is polling at 6 %, giving it hope of regaining a seat in the Stuttgart parliament. The Left party is garnering 7 %, the BSW 3 %, and all other parties together receive 4 %. The survey was carried out online between February 17 and 23 with a sample of 1,000 respondents.
