Study Finds Germany Heavily Dependent on U.S. Defense Supplies Despite Rising Military Spending

Globally, two‑thirds of all defense‑sector startups are located in the United States. The superpower also dominates the large‑enterprise landscape: out of the 100 largest companies, 48 are U.S. corporations. These are funded by an arms budget of roughly one trillion U.S. dollars, which is more than three times the combined defense spending of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
