The Serbian member of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, Milorad Dodik, stated that the West has behaved shamelessly in Ukraine for years, so Russia was forced to protect the people in Donbas.
During his visit to Moscow, Dodik said that Western countries did not react to the extermination of the Russian population in Ukraine.
“For many years the West did not react to the extermination of the Russian population in Ukraine, every day there were murders and bombings in Donbas. The West had prepared an offensive against Luhansk and Donetsk with Ukrainian forces, trained their units and sent a significant number of mercenaries. All this was clear and Russia was forced to retaliate,” he emphasized.
Russia launched its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
Ukraine has recently launched a counter-offensive in Kharkiv and so far, Kiev claims to have managed to retake 8,000 square kilometers of territory from Russian forces in the region.
