Bunker Demand Soars Amid Global Tensions

The current global geopolitical climate is driving a surge in demand for personal bunkers, according to industry sources. BSSD Defence, a German manufacturer specializing in protective structures, reports a 50% increase in inquiries since the beginning of the year.

Company CEO Mario Piejde indicated that a significant portion of these requests – over half – originate from businesses and landlords. “Companies are contacting us to install bunkers on their premises as a safety measure for their employees” Piejde stated.

Landlords are also showing increased interest in providing shelter options for their tenants. The recent incidents involving Russian military drone activity near Polish airspace have notably fueled these inquiries. “People are realizing that the situation is serious” Piejde commented.

The German Protection Room Centre in Munich has corroborated this trend, confirming a substantial rise in demand for consultations regarding small bunkers. “We’ve seen a marked increase in requests for advice, particularly following the recent events in Poland” said a spokesperson for the centre. The escalating international tensions are evidently prompting individuals and organizations to explore options for personal protection.
