Two 4.4-magnitude earthquakes hit the eastern Aegean island of Samos.
It was not reported any injuries or damage to construction structures.
The largest quake struck at 12:10 a.m., about 14 minutes after the first, the Geodynamic Institute of Athens said.
Both had their epicenters at sea 22 kilometers southwest of Samos.
The Fire Service and local authorities in Samos said they received no reports of injuries or damage.
Greece lies in a very active seismic zone and earthquakes are common, although severe damage and death are not.
In 1999, an earthquake near the capital, Athens, killed 143 people.
