Teen Drivers Killed in German Car Crash

A tragic traffic accident in Kürten, near Bergisch-Gladbach, claimed the lives of four young people early Saturday morning.

According to police reports cited by West German Broadcasting (WDR), a 16-year-old male was driving a vehicle belonging to his parents when the incident occurred. The car reportedly left the roadway while navigating a curve and collided with a tree.

Initial investigations suggest the 16-year-old took the vehicle without his parents’ knowledge or consent. The driver sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The victims have been identified as two 19-year-old men and two girls aged 14 and 16. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to the accident.
