Four people have been shot and two killed after a shooting in Washington, D.C. The shooting was reported at the corner of Capitol Street, north of New York Avenue.
Police officers have been on the ground following reports that several people have been shot. Investigations are ongoing, while at the moment it is not known whether they have detained the suspect.
There was also no word on what led up to the shooting. Another shooting happened overnight just half a block away, when a man was killed and a woman was injured. It is not known if the shootings are related.
