German Economic Minister to Meet with US Counterparts in the United States
German Economic Minister Katherina Reiche is set to embark on a trip to the United States, where she will meet with US Finance Minister Scott Bessent and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer on Friday, according to a report by POLITICO Pro Industry & Trade, citing ministerial sources.
The minister’s program also includes a breakfast meeting on Saturday, organized by the German American Chamber of Commerce in Washington, with a delegation of numerous German companies that have subsidiaries in the United States, as reported by POLITICO Pro Industry & Trade, citing the minister’s office. Notably, the German pharmaceutical and life sciences company Bayer is expected to be part of the delegation.
