Russian plan for Putin in case of defeat in Ukraine.

Russia has a plan prepared for President Vladimir Putin, in case the Russian army is defeated on Ukrainian territory. Putin would leave Russia if the strategy is not realized in Ukraine.

Therefore, one of the scenarios would be to leave the Russian country.
Two factors would play a role. One of them, the physical deterioration of the president and his health condition, which remains unknown despite all the rumors that have come out in recent months.

The other reason would be the climate of public opinion in the Russian country. A defeat in Ukraine, according to the British media, could cause a sudden change in the perception of the president. In this sense, Iran and Syria could be his destinations.

Syria would be one of Putin’s escape routes, given his close relationship with Bashar al-Assad’s regime, which he supported in the 2015 Syrian civil war.

However, any flights from Russia to Syria would pass through Turkish airspace. Turkey is a NATO country and could deny entry to the Russian leader, eliminating the possibility of a quick escape to the Syrian country.

Otherwise, it is reported that Putin’s health had worsened during the past week and a quick emergency intervention was needed.
