In the aftermath of a school shooting in Graz, Austria, that resulted in multiple fatalities, German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier extended his condolences to his Austrian counterpart, Alexander Van der Bellen. Steinmeier expressed his deep sorrow and distress in a statement, saying, “My thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones. I offer my deepest sympathies to them.” He also wished a speedy and complete recovery to the injured.

According to the latest reports, the shooting on Tuesday claimed the lives of ten individuals, including the perpetrator and left a two-digit number of people injured, with two in critical condition. The attacker, a 22-year-old former student, was reportedly in possession of two legally owned weapons, a pistol and a shotgun, as per media reports.
