Trump took to his platform to share the details of the conversation, stating that Xi extended an invitation for the First Lady and himself to visit China, which he accepted. “As the leaders of two great nations, this is something we both look forward to” Trump wrote.
Trade was the primary focus of the conversation, with Trump noting that no discussions took place regarding Russia, Ukraine, or Iran.
