Multiple shootings in the Canadian province.

Police have confirmed multiple casualties from early morning shootings in the Canadian province of British Columbia.

Emergency alerts issued shortly after 6 a.m. local time warned of “multiple gunshots” in downtown Langley, a town about 40 kilometers east of Vancouver.

A single suspect has been taken into custody.

The motive is still unknown and the case is being investigated by the authorities.

A spokesman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police did not immediately confirm any deaths in Monday’s attack, but said there were “several casualties and several different scenes throughout the Township of Langley, and one scene in the Township of Langley.”

The victims were said to be homeless.

Roads in the area have been closed while investigations continue.
