BURKARDT'S BREAKTHROUGH: Stiller's Shock Exit Paves Way for New Star!

German Football Team Receives Boost Ahead of Nations League Final Four

The German national football team has received a boost ahead of the upcoming Nations League Final Four, as coach Julian Nagelsmann has named Jonathan Burkardt to the team’s roster. The 24-year-old forward from 1. FSV Mainz 05 will join the team at its training base in Herzogenaurach on Friday, the German Football Association (DFB) announced on Tuesday.

Burkardt, who has played in three international matches for Germany, will be part of the team’s preparations for the semi-final against Portugal on June 4 in Munich. The inclusion of the young striker comes as a response to the unavailability of Angelo Stiller, a national team player from VfB Stuttgart, who is still recovering from a ligament injury in his ankle and will not be able to participate in the Final Four.
