Gasoline and Diesel Prices Soar Again, Despite Oil Price Dip!

Fuel Prices in Germany Rise Again, Despite Stabilizing Global Oil Market

Berlin, Germany – The average price of gasoline and diesel in Germany has increased, with a liter of Super E10 now costing around €1,682, a 0.7-cent rise, according to the German Automobile Club (ADAC) on Wednesday. Diesel prices have also risen by 1.5 cents, to an average of €1,564 per liter.

The global oil market, however, has seen a stabilization in prices, with the Brent crude oil price hovering just below the previous week’s level at around $65 per barrel. The recent easing of trade tensions between China and the United States, as well as the possibility of a reduction in the price ceiling for Russian oil, have contributed to the stabilization.

Despite the global market trends, the ADAC expects the stronger euro and the slight fall in oil prices to lead to lower fuel prices at the pump in the near future.
