Wolfsburg Secures Denis Vavro’s Services for the Long Haul
VfL Wolfsburg has exercised its option to sign Denis Vavro, a central defender on loan from FC Kopenhagen and has secured his services until 2027, the club announced on Monday. The Slovak international played 31 matches for the team in the recently concluded season, scoring three goals.
VfL’s sports director, Sebastian Schindzielorz, praised Vavro, saying, “He’s an incredibly important player for us in terms of his mentality. He brings a great fighting spirit and a lot of heart to the pitch. He has further developed himself with us and has quickly established himself as a key figure in our defense.”
Vavro expressed his gratitude, stating, “The club has given me great trust from the very beginning. In Wolfsburg, I’ve found an environment that suits me both on and off the pitch.
