The Arnsberg State Prosecutor’s Office has arrested a second suspect in connection with the murder in Menden that occurred last Saturday. As reported by the police and state prosecutor’s office on Saturday, the suspect is a 16-year-old Syrian who is suspected of committing the crime together with a previously known 17-year-old. The warrant for the suspect’s arrest was requested on Friday afternoon and executed later that evening. The suspect was presented to the district court judge in Arnsberg. The investigation into the motive behind the crime and any possible additional suspects is ongoing and further information has not yet been made public.
