The US stock markets showed mixed performance on Wednesday. At the end of trading in New York, the Dow was calculated at 42,084.65 points, a decrease of 0.13% compared to the previous trading day.

Only a few minutes earlier, the broader S&P 500 was up by 0.1% to around 5,890 points and the Nasdaq 100 on the technology stock exchange was up by 0.4% to around 21,280 points.

Market analysts now see fewer impulses for investors to make investments following the recent customs jubilees.

The European community currency was slightly weaker on Wednesday evening: One Euro cost 1.1167 US-Dollars and one Dollar was worth 0.8955 Euros.

The gold price was in a strong downward trend and in the evening, a fine ounce was priced at 3,181 US-Dollars (-2.1%). This corresponds to a price of 91.60 Euro per gram.

The oil price, in turn, decreased significantly: A barrel of North Sea crude oil cost around 65.80 US-Dollars on Wednesday evening, which is 83 cents or 1.3% less than at the end of the previous trading day.
