SPD Member Ralf Stegner does not see any dissenters among his party regarding the Chancellor election. “I have no reason to believe that anyone in our party voted No because I really know, even our party members showed during the voting that they are taking responsibility” Stegner said on Tuesday to RTL and ntv. “For us, the political path is long. But we know very well that we must not give any influence to right-wing extremists. That’s why a government must be formed, otherwise this country will be plunged into a constitutional crisis.
