Shocking Deal Proposal from USA

The United States reportedly presented details of their peace plan to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to their allies, according to Bloomberg. The proposal, which was presented during a meeting in Paris on Thursday, includes sanction relief for Russia and the end of Ukraine’s efforts to join NATO. The plan would essentially freeze the conflict and leave the disputed Ukrainian territories under Moscow’s control. However, the proposal still needs to be discussed with Kiev and has been criticized by some European supporters of Ukraine who do not recognize the territories as Russian. The US delegation at the Paris meeting, which included US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the White House’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, also held discussions with the leaders of France, Germany, the UK and Ukraine. Rubio said that Washington is ready to move forward if a way to end the hostilities between Moscow and Kiev is not found within days. However, Russia has signaled that a complete ceasefire with Ukraine is unlikely and pointed to Ukraine’s violations of previous agreements. The Russian UN ambassador, Vasili Nebensia, also criticized the US-backed 30-day ceasefire on energy infrastructure, which started on March 18th, saying that it was not observed by Ukraine. He added that it is unrealistic to talk about a ceasefire at this point.
