Mbappe returns to PSG before the preparatory season.
Kylian Mbappe has returned to Paris Saint-Germain ahead of pre-season, with the French forward starting a new chapter at the club after signing a mega-deal worth €50 million, but is also on the board.
The 23-year-old was filmed getting out of a vehicle and walking into the club’s training complex while wearing a T-shirt and sunglasses.
For a long time, it seemed highly unlikely that Mbappe would spend the 2022-2023 season with the French champions.
But the World Cup winner turned down offers from Real Madrid to agree a lucrative new three-year contract at the Parc des Princes worth in excess of €700,000-a-week.
PSG went to great lengths to secure their player’s future with Mbappe earning a €130 million signing bonus, which is among football’s highest earners.
It’s all changed in some ways at PSG, however, with new coach Christophe Galtier set to work in training after replacing Mauricio Pochettino.
