US President Donald Trump will speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. “We’ll see if we can do something by Tuesday” in regards to the Ukraine war, Trump said to journalists on Sunday evening. “A lot of work was done over the weekend” he added. “We want to see if we can bring this war to an end.” Trump described the discussions as “division of certain assets” and mentioned that land and power plants are part of the talks on ending the war. Trump and Putin last spoke by phone in mid-February, following which the US President announced the “immediate” start of negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
