Russian Officials Reject Temporary Ceasefire Proposal in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated on Thursday that a one-month proposal for a temporary ceasefire, primarily put forward by Kiev and Paris, is “absolutely unacceptable.” According to Zakharova, “firm agreements for a final settlement are needed” and that without them, any kind of delay or reorganization would be “absolutely unacceptable, as it would lead to the opposite result.”

Zakharova also emphasized that the stationing of armed units under some European flags in Ukraine is “absolutely unacceptable.” Further information to follow shortly.
