Weddings and friendly matches at Camp Nou.
The Catalan club, Barcelona, is allowing the fans to get married at the Camp Nou and organize matches between them in exchange for payment, after aiming to ‘alleviate’ the deep financial crisis that has gripped them.
The Blaugrana have announced that couples can rent the stadium for their special day, with various packages available.
The cheapest option, which would be in the ‘Foundation Lounge’, costs 1600 euros and would be most suitable for a small wedding with 25 to 50 people in attendance.
But, the most expensive is the “Tribune Hall”, which comes with several exits for views of the field. With seats from 300 to 1000 people, this space is available for 13,500 euros.
Another attractive alternative is the Camp Nout terrace, which costs between 6000 and 7000 euros depending on attendance and allows guests to meet up close with one of the great pitches in world football.
Clients receive the selected space for six hours of use, as well as assistance from a lady and cleaning before and after the organization.
Barcelona is deep in financial trouble, as it was recently reported that they need to generate revenues over 500 million euros before June 30 in order to balance accounts.
In addition to weddings, the Blaugrana are offering fans the opportunity to also play revival matches on their field.
Between June 6 and June 11, fans can pay 300 euros each to play at the Camp Nou for one hour. Friends and family can also look for a fee of 30 euros.
