According to the GfK, the Indie band “Provinz” has taken the top spot in the official German Album Charts with their album “Pazifik”, announced on Friday.
Taking the second spot is singer Tate McRae with “So Close To What”, followed by Nino de Angelo with “Irgendwann im Leben” on the third and Sam Fender with “People Watching” on the fourth place.
The single charts are led by Oimara’s “Wackelkontakt”. Ayliva’s “Wie?” has entered the charts and takes the second spot, as does Bausa and Jazeek’s “Wenn der Himmel weint” on the fourth rank. The previous week’s second-placed song, Zartmann’s “Tau mich auf”, has slipped to the third place.
The official German charts are determined by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German Music Industry Association, covering approximately 90 percent of all music sales.
