According to a Forsa survey commissioned by RTL Germany, the CDU and CSU have lost one percentage point in voter approval in the run-up to the federal election, now standing at 29 percent. The SPD, on the other hand, has lost one point and now has 15 percent of the vote. The AfD has gained one point, putting it at 21 percent and making it the second-strongest force in the next Bundestag.
The Left party has gained one point, now standing at 8 percent, while the FDP remains at 5 percent, putting its re-entry into the Bundestag in jeopardy. The Greens have remained at 13 percent.
According to the institute, 22 percent of voters are still undecided on how they will vote on Sunday. The data was collected by Forsa between February 17 and 20, with a basis of 2,502 respondents.
