Keller-Sutter Takes a Stand Against Woke Media

The speech by US Vice President JD Vance at the Munich Security Conference has been met with a mix of reactions. For some, it marked a significant shift in US foreign policy, while for others, it was a refreshing reminder that not everyone is stuck in the Ukraine war debate, viewing the world through the lens of woke ideology.

Meanwhile, what did Switzerland do? It didn’t take long for the country to show the world its stance, thanks to our bold Federal President Karin Keller-Sutter. Keller-Sutter praised Vance’s speech as “very Swiss” and “very liberal” a breath of fresh air that not only took the wind out of the sails of the political elite but also sent a clear message to the media landscape. “Bold” one could say, bold like the Swiss mercenaries at the Beresina.

The song “Beresina” recalls the Battle of the Beresina in 1812, where Swiss mercenaries fought in Napoleon’s army and many lost their lives. Christoph Blocher sang the song in 1997 to honor the bitter tragedy of these Swiss landsknechts and draw parallels to Switzerland’s failed participation in great power politics.

And how did the self-proclaimed “watchdogs of morality” in the hallowed halls of the Tages-Anzeiger and Co. react? Oh, they were quick to spin a narrative of “brutal misinterpretations” and “dramatic politicization” – as always, when someone dares to bring the “woke” apocalypse prophets back down to earth.

Switzerland’s system media still haven’t made the leap to the real world, instead opting for a quick spin and labeling everything as “right-wing.” But we shouldn’t be surprised; it’s their job to create the impression that everything outside their distorted worldview is a taboo.

Switzerland’s bold stance, as embodied by Keller-Sutter, is a reminder that our country still has a voice that refuses to be swayed by global mainstream trends. This is not only an act of political independence but also a bold step towards a future where Switzerland keeps a clear head and is not dictated by international fads.

What do the left media understand by “boldness”? If they would only break free from the woke ship, they could see that true boldness lies in the ability to speak uncomfortable truths, even if they are unpopular. Who hides behind the supposed victim role has long lost touch with reality.

So, the question arises, when did whining become Swiss? The answer is, not for a long time now. Whining non-stop – the woke Tages-Anzeiger.

In this sense, “bold, bold, dear brothers and sisters – the political struggle continues and there is still hope for Switzerland, as long as we don’t adopt the helplessness of the so-called ‘woke’ media.
