Bundeswehr University Hacked in Shocking Cyberattack!

According to a report by the German business daily “Handelsblatt”, the University of the German Federal Armed Forces in Munich has fallen victim to a previously unknown hacker attack. The affected individuals were informed via email that sensitive data may have been leaked, the article claims.

Significant data volumes from various areas have been copied or leaked by the attacker, the newspaper reports, citing two independent sources. The incident is said to involve, among other things, clear names and passwords, official and private email addresses, login data, or course contents. Personal data such as account and mobile phone numbers or private addresses were also allegedly affected. The attackers, as of current knowledge, are said to have gained access to the central IT services of the university using a leaked user identification, the “Handelsblatt” article states.
