In the Champions League playoffs, FC Bayern München secured a 2-1 win over Celtic Glasgow in the first leg.
The Bavarian team dominated the game for the most part, but faced difficulties in finding their rhythm in the early stages. Celtic’s Nicolas Kühn came close with a shot in the first minute, but it was disallowed due to offside. Bayern eventually broke the deadlock in the 45th minute through Michael Olise’s goal.
The second half saw Harry Kane provide an assist in the 49th minute, giving the team a two-goal lead. The game saw a resurgence of tension in the final minutes, as Daizen Maeda scored a goal for the opposing team in the 79th minute. The return leg is scheduled for February 18.
