Russian airstrikes have not stopped.
The head of the Ukrainian Railways has confirmed that this morning, five train stations in central and western Ukraine were engulfed in fire.
Alexander Kamyshin reported material damage, but did not provide further details regarding the stations involved in the fire.
“5 railway stations shelled during one hour today in the morning. 16+ passenger trains delayed. Casualties reported, details later. #russians keep destroying #ukrainian railway infrastructure.”
This is not the first time that train stations have been the target of Russian attacks since the beginning of the Ukrainian occupation.
Meanwhile in April, at least 50 people – including five children – were killed when Russian forces carried out airstrikes on a train station in Kramatorsk.
