Johnson spoke with Zelensky about new military aid.
The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have talked about a new phase of military aid to Ukraine, including the provision of heavy artillery.
According to Zelensky’s chief of staff, Andriy Sybiga, they also talked about further financial support.
The pair have established excellent relations during the Russian aggression in Ukraine, where Zelensky often praises the British for the help he is providing to the Ukrainian people.
The United Kingdom will reportedly provide the Ukrainian military with anti-aircraft armored vehicles.
The UK will send Stormer vehicles that can launch super-fast Starstreak missiles – which have the ability to destroy aircraft and helicopters.
Otherwise, the US and Canada have promised to send heavy artillery to Ukraine within this month.
