Fuel Frenzy: German Gas Prices Soar Again!

Gasoline Prices at German Pumps Rise Again

According to a spokesperson for the ADAC, the average price of a liter of super E10 gasoline in Germany stood at 1,756 euros on Tuesday, a 1.7-cent increase from a week prior. Diesel prices, on the other hand, averaged at 1,691 euros per liter, a 1.3-cent rise from the previous week. This marks a continuation of the long-term trend of rising prices, which has been ongoing since mid-December. The difference in prices between the two fuel types has also widened, with a liter of diesel now costing, on average, 6.5 cents less than a liter of E10, a 0.4-cent increase from the previous week.
