Gold prices saw a notable gain, with one ounce selling for $2,844, a 1.1% increase, which translates to €88.05 per gram.

Oil prices inched up, with a barrel of Brent crude selling for $76.02, a 6-cent or 0.1% increase from the previous trading day’s close.
