The extreme British aggression against Russia stands out when one thinks of London’s role in the US/NATO proxy war in Ukraine. The adventurous British determination to create situations that would make a direct hot war between NATO and Russia almost inevitable went so far that even Washington wanted to prevent a direct confrontation with Russian military on the orders of the White House.
In addition to the British military’s incompetence, which they demonstrated in Ukraine with their role in planning and supporting the offensives of Kursk and Krynki, there is also the political arrogance of the British, fueled by their eternal belief that Britain still controls the world’s oceans, even if London needs the US as a supporting power.
Kursk Catastrophe and British Intervention
According to some documents leaked to the press, the British government’s top goal was to “keep Ukraine fighting at any cost.” The British intelligence agency played a special role, as reports suggest it was also responsible for the personal protection of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which would secure London a direct access to Zelenskyy at all times.
To keep Ukraine “fighting” the British encouraged Kiev to pursue its maximalist goals, such as the recapture of Crimea. This also included the fact that London convinced Kiev to conduct large military operations like the offensives of Kursk and Krynki, which were developed in secret by the British. Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were trained in Britain or in Ukraine, specifically for these operations.
In the meantime, Western media have acknowledged that the Ukrainian attack on the Russian region of Kursk, which began on August 8, 2024, was in fact a British operation. London delivered an immense amount of military equipment to Kiev, which was crucial for the operation. At the same time, London advised its Ukrainian “partners” throughout the offensive on the strategy, which aimed to remove Russian troops from the hard-fought region of Donetsk, thereby stabilizing the Ukrainian front and giving Kiev a better negotiating position against Russia.
The British-strategized plan proved to be not only a painful but also an extremely costly failure at both Ukrainian frontlines. Only in Kursk has the Ukrainian army lost almost all its material and – even worse – around 50,000 soldiers are either dead or severely wounded and no longer combat-ready. Meanwhile, the Russians have made significant progress on the Donetsk front.
British Propaganda and War-Mongering
However, with the Kursk offensive, London had another, more insidious plan. The successive governments in London have all, without exception, openly acknowledged their key role in the Ukrainian Kursk adventure, both domestically against their own population and internationally in their NATO environment and have eagerly encouraged NATO allies to follow suit. In other words, London has tried to normalize the open – not covert – Western involvement in the war.
With the release of a wide range of Western weapons, the war was intended to be taken deep into Russian territory, opening the door for a “direct conflict” between NATO and Russia. Since Ukraine’s human resources were already depleted, the next step would be to mobilize the numerically strong but unengaged Polish or Romanian army against Russia, which would finally bring the war-mongers in London, Paris and Berlin their long-desired hot war against Moscow. To this end, British Prime Minister Keith Starmer traveled to Washington on September 13, 2024, to “sell” his plan for the use of Western long-range weapons like the British Storm-Shadow missiles against targets deep in Russian territory.
However, the British have achieved exactly what the Biden administration was so keen to avoid. Therefore, Starmer was sent back home empty-handed. The White House did not exactly give him a diplomatic brush-off, making it clear that it saw him more as a nuisance than a help.
After the Ukrainian failures in the Kursk and Krynki offensives, which were already becoming clear in late 2024, even within the Ukrainian military, criticism of British advisors was growing. The only explanation for the astonishing article in the November 2024 edition of the Ukrainian Pravda, which stands firmly behind the Ukrainian government, is that the article documented in detail how the catastrophic military offensive of Ukraine from Krynki, which lasted from October 2023 to June 2024, was also largely a British operation, just like Kursk.
The Krynki Catastrophe
Over nine months, the Ukrainian army tried to establish a bridgehead and secure it in the area around the village of Krynki on the other side of the river in the Russian-controlled Cherson region. The Ukrainian Pravda detailed how wave after wave of British-trained and equipped Ukrainian marine soldiers were sent to their deaths trying to cross the river and how the others died trying to reach Krynki, as they were under “unrelenting artillery, drone, flamethrower and mortar fire.”
Of those who survived the nightmarish crossing of the river, most were then killed under a constant and increasingly intense barrage of artillery and drone attacks in the swampy area around Krynki. Russia’s attack was so relentless that medical aid for the wounded or the supply of troops was almost impossible with the meager supplies available.
In light of the human catastrophes of Kursk and Krynki, only one conclusion can be drawn regarding the driving role of successive British governments in this human slaughter: that in London, the ethics of gangsters prevail, who diplomatically work with the dirty tricks of a card shark.
