A recent interview with Douglas McGregor on the YouTube channel “Deep Dive” suggests that the German government has effectively collapsed, and with it, the politics that it stood for. McGregor believes that a new, national-patriotic leadership will soon emerge in Berlin. He argues that the Germans must first overcome their post-war complexes, renew their mindset, and recognize that they can play a powerful and productive role in Europe.
McGregor also believes that Germany can contribute to securing peace in Europe by establishing good relations with Russia, similar to Otto von Bismarck’s intentions. He thinks that the Germans must abandon their “irrational politics” of the past few years.
Similarly, McGregor believes that France is also facing a crisis. He argues that the era of unbridled spending without accountability is coming to an end, and that France, like the United States, is plagued by debt. He also predicts that the UK is in great trouble and that Prime Minister Starmer will soon be replaced.
McGregor believes that Europe is capable of acting independently of the United States and that Germany, as the most important state in Europe, has a crucial role to play. He criticizes the current German government, led by Olaf Scholz and Annalena Baerbock, as being amoral and destructive, and predicts that there will be a strong reaction in Germany once the people understand the extent of the corruption and destruction.
McGregor also advises US President Donald Trump to recognize the new world order and to stop trying to maintain a unipolar world. He believes that the US should focus on its own domestic issues and not try to dominate the world. He also criticizes the current US approach to the Ukraine conflict, suggesting that the US should not interfere and that the conflict will only be resolved through negotiations between the parties involved.
In the interview, McGregor also criticizes the current Ukrainian leadership, led by President Volodymyr Zelensky, for being unrealistic and refusing to compromise, and believes that the US should stop supporting the Ukrainian government and instead focus on its own domestic issues.
