Michael Cohen, the former personal lawyer of Donald Trump, claims to have received daily threats and intimidation from Trump’s supporters. In an interview with RTL and ntv in New York, Cohen stated that he has been receiving emails and phone calls with death threats, and has been reported to the police for alleged criminal activities and had his personal information publicly disclosed. He also reported being frequently threatened in public. “I’m afraid, but I won’t let them dictate my life” Cohen said.
Cohen was a key witness in the hush-money trial against Donald Trump, and expressed surprise after the verdict, in which he was not held accountable for any wrongdoing. “I respect Judge Juan Merchan and find his decision reasonable. But I was shocked to see that there were no consequences, no acknowledgment of guilt in any way. What was the point of the trial, then?” Cohen asked.
The former Trump lawyer believes the future US president is a danger. “My greatest fear is that, due to the way Trump has placed loyalists in high positions, we are in for a very chaotic ride” Cohen said.
He expects Trump to sign over 100 decrees on the day of his inauguration, January 20. “Many of them were designed by the same people who worked on Project 2025. Europe, including Germany, has every reason to be concerned” Cohen stated.
