CSU's Green Steel Betrayal Exposed!

Green party leader Felix Banaszak sharply criticized the CSU’s proposal to abandon green steel production.

“The CSU’s demands for abandoning green steel are unrealistic and completely disregard the needs of the industry” said Banaszak to the “Rheinische Post”. The companies have long recognized that the future belongs to green steel to maintain value creation and jobs in Germany.

“The first companies, such as Thyssenkrupp Steel, have clearly expressed their reservations about the Munich idea. With their proposal, the CSU has not only alienated the entire steel industry but also further unsettled the employees in Duisburg, Salzgitter, and Bremen – many of whom have been steel workers for decades and worry about their jobs” Banaszak said.

“This is the opposite of responsible and reliable industrial policy, it’s pure ideology.” At least, it becomes clear what direction Germany is heading: “Who takes climate protection seriously and wants to secure the economic substance of the country for the future must vote for the Greens in February” the Green party leader added.
