The Union will toughen the regulations for the deportation of criminal foreigners. “We cannot tolerate people who are our guests and receive help from us committing crimes or sparking conflicts on German soil” the draft of a security paper for the upcoming leadership conference in Hamburg, reported by the “Rheinische Post” (Friday edition), states.
“A perpetrator loses the right to stay if he commits a serious crime, is sentenced to a prison term, even on probation, and is legally convicted” the paper says. “Or if he is legally convicted for the second time for intentional crimes, regardless of whether it’s a prison term or not.”
Foreigner crime is rising sharply. Whoever misuses their “guest right” by deliberately opposing our legal and value order and thereby causing unrest, cannot have a long-term perspective of staying in our country, the Union demands.
Moreover, the Union in the seven-page paper confirms its plan to revoke the German citizenship of dual citizens in cases of severe crimes. “If people commit serious crimes and we recognize that we made a mistake by granting them citizenship, it must be possible to revoke the German citizenship of dual citizens” the Union says. “This must particularly apply in cases of extreme and terrorist acts.
