Thomas Anders and Florian Silbereisen top the official German album charts, as reported by GfK on Friday. Their second joint album “Nochmal” debuted directly at number one, just like its predecessor “Das Album”.
Behind the two Schlager singers, Linkin Park (“From Zero”) and the South Korean boy group Stray Kids (“Hop”) ranked second and third, respectively. Lacazette (“LID”) reached the fifth spot from the start.
In the single charts, the holiday season is almost over, with Rosé and Bruno Mars benefiting from this. The Blackpink singer and the R&B singer rose to the top with their duet “APT” for the first time. Gracie Abrams (“That’s So True”) and Nina Chuba (“Fata Morgana”) completed the podium.
The official German charts are determined by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the German Music Industry. They cover 90 percent of all music sales.
