The direct talks between representatives of Russia and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi will resume only on Wednesday, President Volodymyr Selesnicki announced on Sunday. Initially, the negotiations were expected to continue over the weekend in the United Arab Emirates.
Selesnicki said the Ukrainian negotiating team had submitted a report to him. According to the new schedule, the next trilateral meetings are fixed for February 4 and 5 in Abu Dhabi. The United States will again sit at the table as a mediator.
“The Ukraine is ready for substantial talks, and we want the outcome to bring us closer to a genuine and dignified end to the war” Selesnicki added.
