In the latest ZDF “Politbarometer” the SPD has slid to a record low. If the federal election were held this Sunday, the Social Democrats would secure only 13 percent, the result of a poll released on Friday morning. This is two points below the previous round of the “Politbarometer” a month earlier.

The AfD gains two points, now matching the CDU/CSU at 26 percent, while the Union remains unchanged. The Greens add three points to reach 15 percent, and the Left falls one point to 10 percent. Together, all other parties account for 10 percent (down two points), including the FDP and BSW.
