Powerwolf Tops German Album Charts While Nena Jumps to Top Ten

Powerwolf leads the official German album charts with “Wildlive (Live at Olympiahalle)”, the GfK announced on Friday.

Following them, Angelo Kelly’s “Alive” sits in second place, while Bad Bunny slips to third with “Debi tirar mas fotos”. New entries into the Top 10 include Joe Bonamassa at number four with “B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100”, Charli XCX at five with “Wuthering Heights”, rapper Kane at eight with “Farben”, and Nena at ten with “Wir gehören zusammen – On Tour With Nena”.

In the singles list, the Bonn-based brass band Druckluft reaches the summit with “Karnevalsmaus”. They become the first German band to top the single chart in four years, following Rammstein’s “Zick Zack”, and the first carnival act to do so in nineteen years, after Höhner’s “Wenn nicht jetzt, wann dann”. Second and third places go to Zara Larsson with “Lush Life” and Bad Bunny with “DtMF”.

The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment at the request of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie and reflect 90 % of all music sales.
