The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Potsdam has filed charges against a pediatrician following numerous reports of abuse. According to the authorities, the accused is facing charges related to violations of sexual self-determination in a total of 130 cases. These charges include acts of severe sexual abuse and rape involving children.

The crimes are alleged to have taken place between December 1, 2013, and November 5, 2025. A large majority of the incidents reportedly occurred while the doctor was practicing in the areas of Rathenow and Nauen. The accused is currently in pre-trial detention.

The next step involves the Regional Court of Potsdam, which must decide whether to open the main criminal proceedings.
