Noah Kahan Tops German Album Charts With Michael Jackson Revival Vibes

Noah Kahan currently dominates the official German album charts, according to an update provided by GfK on Monday. The American singer-songwriter’s album, “The Great Divide”, holds the number one spot. Following behind are more established acts: Foo Fighters ranked at number two with “Your Favorite Toy”, and BTS sits at number three with “Arirang”.

A notable chart resurgence is being seen in the music of Michael Jackson, driven by the biopic “Michael”. His soundtrack occupies position six, while six of his other studio albums are also featured within the Top 100. These include the classics “Thriller” at number nine and “Bad” at number 25. Furthermore, four of his singles have been charted: “Billie Jean” at number 16, “Beat It” at number 32, “They Don’t Care About Us” at number 70, and “Dirty Diana” at number 91.

In the single charts, the current leader is Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj with “Beauty And A Beat” who successfully defend the top position against Tame Impala’s “Dracula” and Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life”.

These official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German Music Industry Association, covering 90 percent of all music sales.
