Mercedes Sells Berlin Dealerships to Canadian Investor Alpha Auto Group

Mercedes-Benz’s branches in Berlin are reportedly being sold to Kuldeep Billan, the head and founder of the Canadian investor Alpha Auto Group. This information, according to reports from “Bild” citing internal company sources, detailed that several hundred employees in Berlin were notified via email on Monday regarding the sale of the local distribution network.

The seven specific Berlin locations affected by this sale include the dealerships in Spandau, Marienfelde (though the main factory remains separate), Holzhauser Straße, Rhinstraße, the Airport-Center Schönefeld, the paint and body center in Ludwigsfelde, and the Mercedes-Welt am Salzufer.

Furthermore, the report suggests that other major branches, including those in Hamburg, Munich, and the Rhine-Ruhr area, are also slated for sale in the near future. Overall, this potential shift is expected to impact approximately 8,000 Mercedes employees across Germany.
