According to GfK, the official German album charts saw Marteria taking the top spot on Friday. The rapper achieved his third number-one album, which is titled “Zum Glück in die Zukunft III”. This release follows the tracks “Zum Glück in die Zukunft II” (2014) and the collaborative album “1982” (2018), which he created alongside Casper.
Taking the second position was Musician Bosse with his tenth studio album, “Stabile Poesie”. Further down the chart, the KPop group BTS landed in third place with their album “Arirang”. The fourth highest-ranking album belongs to “Das Lumpenpack” featuring “Bevor der Mut dich verlässt” while the fifth spot is taken by Zayn’s “Konnakol”.
In the single charts, “Beauty And A Beat” by Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj jumped from thirteenth to number one. AK Ausserkontrolle and Shirin David secured the silver medal with “LDNB”. Following the German rap duo were Tame Impala with “Dracula” (at number three), newcomer Olivia Rodrigo with “Drop Dead” (number four), and Zara Larsson claiming fifth place with “Lush Life”.
The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the Music Industry, covering 90 percent of all music sales in Germany.
