Lacazette and Jazeek Top German Single Charts with “CDY”

Lacazette and Jazeek have taken the top spot of the German singles chart with “CDY” according to GfK’s Friday release. It’s Lacazette’s first number‑one hit and Jazeek’s second after “Akon”. The runner‑up positions are held by Zara Larsson with “Lush Life” in second place and Taylor Swift’s “The Fate Of Ophelia” in third.

In the album charts, Harry Styles leads with his new release, “Kiss All The Time – Disco, Occasionally”. The album enjoyed the strongest opening week in Germany in five months and became the most streamed album on its release day since last October.

Sarah Connors’ “Freigeistin” sits at number two, while third place goes to H‑Blockx for their first studio album in fourteen years, “Fillin The Blank” – the highest chart position the crossover band has ever achieved. Kayef’s “Lieder für dich” and Roland Kaiser’s “Marathon” occupy the fourth and fifth spots respectively.

The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie and cover 90 % of all music sales.
