Iran announced that it will target U.S. and Israeli officials and military commanders, even if they are on vacation at tourist destinations. A spokesperson for the armed forces made the statement on Iranian state television on Friday.

The speaker specifically addressed officials, commanders, pilots, and “malevolent soldiers”. He warned that promenades, holiday spots, and tourism and entertainment centers worldwide will no longer be safe for them, citing the information Iran has about them.

The threat came amid the burial in Tehran of Iranian intelligence minister Esmail Khatib-killed by Israel-and his family.
