During a Green Party rally in Stuttgart, members of the Green Youth allegedly told Tübingen mayor Boris Palmer to leave the venue. According to Palmer, two young men-clear “Green Youth” members-approached him as he entered the foyer and urged him to leave, saying, “You’re a nuisance, so go”. He claimed no one had invited him there.

The Green Youth organization in Baden‑Württemberg has not commented on Palmer’s account. Palmer, who has been a controversial figure on the Green Party’s national stage, left the party in 2023 after a series of scandals.

The confrontation was also confirmed by Ryyan Alshebl, mayor of the small town Ostelsheim. Alshebl described the meeting as “not a friendly conversation” and noted that such bad behavior had been observed recently at a local primary school.
